Yep 05.09.2008

I couldn't think of a title...

Keep us in your prayers. As many of you know life has been more than exiting over the past year. It seems that circumstances have led one thing to another. At this point we have a likely scenario taking place in the next few months. We will keep you posted as things develop. We aren't saying much specifically until we know more, but you'd never guess. Sorry for the suspense. We would have bet against it even six months ago, but you never know the path that the Lord has for his people. As Isaiah passed on to us, as the heavens are above the earth, so the Lord's ways are above ours. Not only are they mysterious and at times, humanly wierd, they are better and healthier.

If you watch America's The Office you'll understand this better. In my limited view of God I sometimes wonder if, like Stanley, God says, "Did I stutter?!" In this circumnstance I feel the need to ask God if I heard Him right, or maybe He misspoke. I quickly remind myself that He is the Father of trust, the maker of good things. Our human minds have a hard time wrapping themselves around the fact that God has thought it all out.

I hope you're enjoying are new site. You'll see more posts than in recent years. Keep yourselves up to date on the coming news. Chou!

Aevyn 2.0 05.06.2008

Let's join in and say, "HAPPY SECOND BIRTHDAY AEVYN!"

She's my joy and prize. No one can make me more mad and happy all in the same day, than Aevyn. I'd rather watch her dance than a sunrise. When she throws a fit Les likes to point out, "I wonder where she got that from?!" I like to think that Les is with her more, so probably from Les. :)

Thank heaven for Aevyn. Good night Aevyn.

Insurance 05.01.2008

We have an immediate and urgent prayer need.

We just learned that Les has been declined for converage under our new insurance. We were in the process of transferring from HHC's group plan to an individual, family plan. As I'm sure most of you know, it's pretty rare to be totally turned down. Appearently her cardiologist wrote a letter, as requested by the insurance company, and the company didn't like what he said (whatever it was that he said).

As of now it looks like we will have to relly on a State, catestrphic circumstance, insurance. Our current coverage will continue to carry us for $767.25 a month!! We are hoping to get Stone, Aevyn and myself on the new plan and have Les on the Cobra plan.

I don't really know what I'm asking you to pray for. I guess that we can figure something out without having Les lapse in coverage. We are going out of town this weekend for a job interview (more about that next week) and it's always a little uneasy going out of town under these circumstances. You can pray for our voices, we have five gigs in two days.

You folks have always been faithful to pray for us; so pray as the Spirit leads.

If You're Interested 04.25.2008

It's 23˚ and snowing.

It of course did that because I went to work this morning wearing shorts for the first time in 7 wintery months.

Like Wednesday before last - I wore Chacos in the morning and it snowed 12" in Breckenridge.

Appearently God isn't tricked by my clothing choices. Who knew!
